This catwalk was designed for the Swedish fashion designers of Odeur for their show on the Copenhagen Fashion Week 2012. It challenges the pure, perfectly controlled image of a fashion show by distorting the images and blending in the audiences through a straightforward, sometimes almost invisible geometrical object of straight planes and right angles that reflects a different view of reality when models pass by. The object is a simple banal wall that becomes its own antithesis as its appearance skews all simplicities from reality, a simple shape being looked at as a complex representation of the actual world.
Models walk passed by it and see their image being deformed, they moved around it, disappearing for a moment while the audience looks at itself instead of the model. The minimalist sharp cut perfection of the designers of Odeur is put into contrast with the contort reflection of a yet minimalist precise object.
